The death sentences of at least 10 prisoners carried out today

After the execution of three additional prisoners, named Jamil Abdullahzadeh, Mehran Amiri, and Rasoul Naroi, the total number of individuals executed in various prisons across Iran has reached 10 people, six of whom were identified as Baloch prisoners.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization For Human Rights, In the early hours of Monday, August 21, 2023, the death sentences of two prisoners, Mehran Amiri, aged 45, and Jamil Abdullahzadeh, aged 41, were carried out at Qazvin Central Prison.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Organization, these two prisoners were apprehended three years ago on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Simultaneously, the death sentence of Rasoul Naroi, aged 29 and hailing from Rudbar-e Jonubi, was carried out at Kahnuj prison in Kerman province.
According to Haalvash, this prisoner had been sentenced to death four years ago on drug related charges.
Today, Hengaw reported the execution of a minimum of seven additional prisoners on charges related to drugs, taking place in Zahedan, Ahvaz, and Kerman prisons.
