The death sentences of two prisoners identified as Hadi Nazari and Ali Miri, both from Harsin, were implemented in Karaj Ghezel Hesar prison. These prisoners were sentenced to death under the charge of drug-related crimes.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Sunday, January 14, the death sentences of at least two Kurdish prisoners identified as Hadi Nazari and Ali Miri from Harsin (Kermanshah province) were implemented in Karaj Ghezel Hesar prison.
Based on information from a reliable source, these prisoners were arrested by police forces in Karaj two years ago and subsequently sentenced to death in a joint case.
There has not been any news coverage on this execution until the release of this news, particularly by the government media outlets and those that are affiliated with the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
