Issuing 3 executions sentences and more than seven centuries in prison for 166 Kurdish activities over the year of 2019 + the list of the names and sentences

During the past year, tens of Kurdish citizens have been sentenced to death, imprisonment and flogging by the Iranian judiciary system for political, civic and religious activists.

According to recorded statistics at the statistics center of Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, over the past year, at least 166 Kurdish political, civic, religious and labor activists have been sentenced to execution, imprisonment, flogging and fines by the Iranian judicial system.

According to this report, 3 citizens have been sentenced to death in charge of political and religious activists and the rest of them have been totally sentenced to 709 years and 8 months in prison and 642 lashes.

Dividing the charges in terms of accusation
Political Activists: 142 cases, 2 executions cases, 658 years and 7 months in prison and 642 lashes
Civic activists: 8 cases, 13 years and 3 months
Religious activists: 7 cases, one execution case, and 28 years and 6 months in prison
Labour activists: 9 cases, 8 years and 8 months in prison

Issuing the imprisonment sentence for 8 women and teenagers
According to Hengaw statistics, over the past year, an underage children has been sentenced to 5 years in prison and 7 women activists totally sentenced to 17 years and 6 months in prison by the Iranian judicial system.
