Female prisoner hanged in Khorramabad Central Prison

The death detector of a female prisoner, identified as Fariba Maleki Shiravand was carried out at Khorramabad Central Prison. She was previously sentenced to death for premeditated murder.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, early on Sunday, November 24, 2024, Fariba Maleki Shiravand, a 36-year-old resident of Chagni County in Lorestan Province, was hanged in Khorramabad Central Prison.
A credible source revealed that approximately four years ago, Fariba Maleki Shiravand was arrested on charges of murdering her mother-in-law and sister-in-law. She was subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
