Three Prisoners executed in Prisons of Yazd, Kerman, and Karaj

The death sentences of three prisoners, identified as Amir Moradi, Rahim Esmailpour, and one individual whose identity remains under investigation, were carried out in the central prisons of Yazd, Kerman, and Ghezel Hesar in Karaj. These individuals had been convicted of charges related to drug offenses and premeditated murder.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Saturday, November 30, 2024, Amir Moradi was executed in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj. He had previously been arrested on drug-related charges and was ultimately sentenced to death.
Earlier, on the morning of Thursday, November 28, 2024, the death sentence of Rahim Esmailpour, a 33-year-old prisoner from Ardakan, Yazd Province, was carried out in Yazd Central Prison. He had been convicted of “premeditated murder” and sentenced to death.
Additionally, in recent days, another prisoner was executed in Kerman Central Prison for the premeditated murder of a member of military forces. The identity of this individual has not yet been confirmed.
As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been officially announced by state-affiliated media, including those connected to the judiciary.
