Parastoo Ahmadi, a vocalist and musician who recently dedicated a live performance accompanied by a group of instrumentalists to the people of Iran, has been arrested by security forces following the initiation of a judicial case against her.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in addition to Parasto Ahmadi, two musicians involved in this "imaginary concert," identified as Sohail Faghih-Nassiri and Ehsan Beyraghdar, were also arrested in Tehran.
It is noteworthy that a day after the performance, the Islamic Republic of Iran judiciary declared that the concert was "unauthorized, lacked legal permits, and failed to comply with the country's legal and cultural norms." The judiciary announced it had intervened, taken appropriate actions, and initiated legal proceedings against the singer and the production team.
