Donya Veisi violently arrested by security forces in Divandarreh

Iranian security forces violently arrested Donya Veisi, a 30-year-old Kurdish resident of Divandarreh, near her home after she did not comply with repeated telephone summonses from the Intelligence Department. She was transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Veisi was arrested on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, by Intelligence Department forces.
Sources told Hengaw that Veisi received several calls from the Divandarreh Intelligence Department earlier that day instructing her to report to the office. After she did not appear, security forces arrested her near her home, using violence during the arrest.
Iranian authorities have not disclosed the reason for her arrest, the charges against her, or her current place of detention.
