The death sentences of two imprisoned brothers from Isfahan, identified as Ali Manian and Jassem Manian, who had previously been sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic of Iran judiciary on charges of "premeditated murder," were carried out in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd).
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, the executions of Ali Manian, 25, and his older brother Jassem Manian, 31, residents of the Sudan neighborhood in Isfahan, were carried out in the city's central prison.
A reliable source stated that Ali and Jassem Manian were arrested two and a half years ago on charges of murdering an individual named "Ali Manian" and were subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary. Hengaw has learned that Jassem Manian had confessed to the murder, yet the judiciary issued death sentences for both brothers.
