Ebrahim Sharifi, one of the citizens who was injured by direct fire from the Iranian government forces in the recent protests in the city of Bukan, lost his life 13 days after being hospitalized.

According to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, 29-year-old Ebrahim Sharifi of Bukan died on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the Seyedoshohada Hospital in Urmia as a result of the severity of his injuries caused by direct fire from Iranian government forces.

According to an informed source, during the last week’s protests on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, he was seriously injured by direct fire from the Iranian government forces in Bukan.

Based on the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documents Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, since the beginning of the current popular uprising, a total of 119 citizens have been killed in Kurdistan, including Ebrahim Sharifi.

 In the meantime, 7 Kurdish citizens have also been killed under intense mental and physical torture by the Iranian repression institutions.
