During the protests in the city of Javanroud, Kermanshah province, at least 5 citizens named Ismail Gol-Anbar, Masoud Teymuri, Tahsin Miri, Jawhar Fatahi, and Jamal Azami were killed by direct fire from Iranian government forces.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, November 21, 2022, after holding the funeral ceremony of two of the victims of last Saturday's protests in Javanroud, which was held in the presence of thousands of people from this city and surrounding towns and villages, the Iranian Government forces shelled at the people as they moved back towards the city.

As a result of the direct firing of Iranian government forces toward the people, at least five citizens named Ismail Gol-Anbar, Masoud Teymuri, Tahsin Miri, Jawhar Fatahi, and Jamal Azami were killed.

According to the videos and images that Hengaw has received, the IRGC forces have used AK-47s, G3s, and semi-heavy machine guns to suppress the protests.

Hengaw has been informed that more than 100 people have been injured by these forces, and the physical condition of some of them is reported to be critical. A number of the wounded were also abducted by the Iranian security forces, and their health is in danger.

Hengaw’s sources have reported that hundreds of IRGC forces have surrounded the entrance to the city of Javanroud and are preventing any movement into the city.

Also this evening, at the Kazanchi junction between Kermanshah and Ravansar, Iranian security forces shelled a vehicle carrying blood bags donated to the Kermanshah blood bank for Javanroud, preventing blood from being transferred to this city's hospital.

Also, Hengaw has been informed that the IRGC forces prevented the citizens of Javanroud from donating blood by stealing the equipment and facilities related to blood collection in Hazrat Rasoul Hospital.
