Two prisoners who had been sentenced to death for attempted murder, Yusif Mirzabaigi from Qasr-e Shirin in the province of Kermanshah and Mohammad Ali Seyedi, were hanged in Qazvin Central Prison (Choobindar).
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the death sentences of two prisoners, Yusif Mirzabigi, 36, of Qasr-e Shirin, and Mohammad Ali Seyedi, who were previously sentenced to death for intentional murder, were carried out at dawn on Thursday, December 15, 2022, in Coobindar, the Qazvin Central Prison.
Both Yusif Mirzabigi, who was apprehended in 2013 on suspicion of killing his wife, and Mohammad Ali Seidi, who was apprehended in 2014 on suspicion of intentionally killing someone, received death sentences from the Islamic Republic of Iran's judicial system.
