Two Kurdish citizens from Sanandaj, named Hamid Glimpoush and Saman Mohammadi, were kidnapped by the intelligence forces of the IRGC and transferred to an unknown location.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, December 31, 2022, Saman Mohammadi was abducted by IRGC intelligence forces in his car repair shop located in the town of Naysar near Sanandaj.

Also, Hamid Glimpoush, a mountaineer and an environmental activist from Sanandaj, was kidnapped by these forces on Friday, December 30, 2022.

According to informed sources, the follow-up on the condition of these two citizens has been fruitless, and detailed information about their health condition and whereabouts has not been made available.

During the past four months, numerous reports of torture and the plight of prisoners and detainees, as well as the unfavorable conditions of their detention, have been published, which has raised concern regarding the growing repression in Kurdistan.
