The Intelligence Department's agents detained Mehrdad Ghadermarzi, a programmer from Qorveh, and took his family's car and personal items to put more mental and financial pressure on them.
Mehrdad Ghadermarzi was detained by authorities on January 2, 2023, according to a report that the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights has received.
An informed source says that the Intelligence Department's agents have confiscated this citizen's two laptops and cellphones, as well as those of his father and brother, Kazhwan and Masoud Ghadermarzi, and their family vehicle.
According to the information provided to Hengaw, in answer to Masoud Ghadermarzi's appeal, they requested that he turn over his other son, Kazhwan Ghadermarzi, to these institutions in exchange for the return of the family's car and personal items.
One of Mehrdad Ghadermarzi's relatives reports that the government institutions in Qorveh refused to disclose his whereabouts and asserted that they do not have him.
Mehrdad Ghadirmarzi has been relocated from Qorveh to the Intelligence Department in Sanandaj, according to a source, who wished to remain unnamed, who also informed Hengaw that Mehrdad is currently being questioned and imprisoned there.
