 A 20-year-old Kurdish citizen, Hawram Mehrnavaie from Bukan, who was arrested during the popular uprising of this city, was arrested and transferred to prison one month after the 54-month prison sentence was issued.
 

 According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, April 9, 2023, Hawram Mehranvaie, 20 years old and from Bukan, was arrested after being summoned to the court of execution of the sentences of this city and was transferred to the central Bukan’s prison of to serve his sentence.
 

 According to an informed source, in March 2023, Hawram Mehrnavaie was sentenced to 54 months in prison on the charge of "collaborating with the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran during the popular protests of this city" by the 1st branch of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Bukan. 
 

 Hengaw has been informed that Hawram Mehrnavaie was denied access to a lawyer during the temporary detention and also during the court session.
 

 This citizen was arrested by the Iranian government forces on Friday, December 2, 2022, in the middle of the popular uprising in Bukan and was transferred to the detention center.  He was later temporarily released on bail.
