The death sentence of Saeed Almasi, a Kurdish prisoner from Harsin city in Kermanshah who had previously been sentenced to death for drug-related crimes, was carried out at Hamedan Prison.
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization For Human Rights, On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at dawn, the death sentence of Saeed Almasi, a 41-year-old prisoner from Harsin city, was carried out at Hamedan Central Prison.
 

According to a reliable source close to the prisoner's family, In 2017, he was arrested in Hamedan for drug-related charges. Subsequently, he was sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He was the father of one child.
 

In this regard, on Monday, July 17, the death sentences of two other Kurdish prisoners, namely Mohsen Yaqouti and Hamzeh Farrokhi from Kangavar, were carried out at Hamedan Central Prison for the same charge.
 

So far, the news of the execution of Saeed Almasi has not been published by the Iranian state media or media outlets affiliated with the Iranian judiciary.
