Arman Rezazadeh, a convicted prisoner who had been sentenced to death for "premeditated murder," was executed in Rasht Central Prison.
According to a report obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the early morning of Thursday, October 19, 2023, the death sentence of Arman Rezazadeh was carried out within the confines of Rasht Central Prison in the Gilan province.
Reliable sources confirm that this prisoner had been apprehended approximately three years ago on charges related to premeditated murder and subsequently received a death sentence through the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a related development, just last Tuesday, October 17, another prisoner with the last name Ketabi (whose first name remains unknown) was executed in Rasht's Lakan prison following a prior death sentence related to drug-related charges.
