Recently, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner from Esfarayen in North Khorasan province was carried out within the confines of the central prison in this locality.
According to a report obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the early morning of Saturday, October 28, 2023, the death sentence of a 27-year-old Kurdish prisoner named Davud Behzadi, hailing from Esfrain, was executed within the central prison of Esfarayen in North Khorasan province.
According to a reliable source, Davud Behzadi was apprehended seven years ago on charges of premeditated murder at the age of 20 and subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The news of Davud Behzadi's execution was disseminated by Hengaw a week later, and it remained unannounced by government-controlled media outlets at the time of writing.
