The death sentences of three inmates, identified as Ebrahim Naroi, a Baloch individual, Nasir Karimi, and Ali Hadi, who had previously been sentenced to death sentences on charges of drug-related crimes, were carried out in Isfaha Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the early morning of Thursday, November 2, 2023, the death sentences of three inmates, including 32-year-old Nasir Karimi from Fuman city, 31-year-old Ali Hadi from Safadasht city, and 42-year-old Ebrahim Naroi, a Baloch citizen residing in Golestan province, were executed in Isfahan Central Prison.
It is important to note that Ebrahim Naroi had been in custody for 5 years, Nasir Karimi for 3 years, and Ali Hadi for 2 years, all of them convicted of drug-related crimes.
Notably, there has been no news coverage of the execution of these three prisoners in government media outlets, particularly within the media affiliated with the judiciary system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
