The death penalty of a Baloch prisoner identified as Najiobllah Dehmardeh, who was previously sentenced to death for drug-related crimes, was covertly carried out in Qaem Shahr central prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, December 20, the death sentence of Najiobllah Dehmardeh, a 41-year-old resident of Golestan province, was implemented in Qaem Shahr without exercising the right of last visit with family.

Based on information from reliable sources, Najiobllah Dehmardeh, father of four children, was taken into custody five years ago and subsequently sentenced to death.

The verdict was implemented without any notice to his family, and this prisoner was executed without the right to a last visit.

There has not been any news coverage on this execution, particularly by government media outlets and those that are affiliated with the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
