Prisoner executed in Arak Central Prison

Pouya Asgari, a 37-year-old prisoner from Arak was executed out in the city's Central Prison. He had previously been sentenced to death on charges related to drug offenses.

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, The execution took place in early Sunday morning, January 12, 2025.

This prisoner had been arrested four years ago on drug-related charges and was eventually sentenced to death.
