Four Prisoners, Including An Afghanistani National, Executed in Shiraz, Iran

The death sentence of four prisoners was carried out in Shiraz Central Prison (Adel Abad). The names of three of these prisoners, Mojtaba Jouyandeh, Mostafa Aghaei, and Nader Ghorbani, have been verified, and the identity of the Afghanistani prisoner is unknown.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Sunday, May 19, 2024, the death sentence of Mojtaba Jouyandeh, 40, Mostafa Aghaei, 35, Nader Ghorbani, 28, and an Afghan prisoner was executed in Shiraz Central Prison.
According to Iran Human Rights Organization, Mojtaba Jouyandeh and Mostafa Aghaei were arrested and sentenced to death on charges of "premeditated murder", and Nader Ghorbani and the Afghanistani prisoner were arrested and sentenced to death on charges related to drug crimes.
The news of the execution of these four prisoners has not been announced in the government media, especially the media close to the judiciary, until the time of writing this news.
