Farid Badidest Arrested by Iranian Security Forces in Divandareh

A Kurdish individual from the city of Divandareh, identified as Farid Badidest, was arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Farid Badidest, a resident of Divandareh, was arrested at his home in this city by security forces.

According to an informed source, security forces stormed Farid Badidest's family home and arrested him without presenting any judicial warrant and by resorting to violence.

After his arrest, Badidest was taken to an unknown location, and so far, no information is available about the reasons for his arrest or the charges against him.
