Iran Arrests Amirhossein Haghjuyan, a Relative of Reza Rasai

Amirhossein Haghjuyan, the cousin and one of the justice-seeking relatives of Reza Rasai, a Kurdish protester and follower of the Yarsan faith whose death sentence was carried out in August this year, was arrested by the iranian security forces in Sahneh, Kermanshah Province.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, September 23, 2024, Amirhossein Haghjuyan, a member of the justice-seeking families from the city of Sahneh, was arrested during a raid involving more than 20 IRGC forces.

According to informed sources, Amirhossein Haghjuyan was arrested at the garden where he worked, located on the ring road of the city of Sahneh.

Sources close to the family of this individual stated that after his violent arrest, Amirhossein Haghjuyan was taken to an unknown location, and no information regarding his whereabouts is available.

Reza Rasai, a Kurdish political prisoner and follower of the Yarsan faith, arrested during of the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement, was secretly executed on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah.
