The Death Sentence of a Prisoner Carried out in Zanjan Central Prison

The death sentence of Ali Ezzati, who had been sentenced to death for drug-related offenses, was carried out at Zanjan Central Prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Saturday, July 6, 2024, the death sentence of Ali Ezzati, a 45-year-old father of two, was carried out at Zanjan Central Prison.

Ali Ezzati was arrested three years ago on drug-related charges and then was sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

So far, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced in the Iranian state media, especially the media affiliated with the judiciary.
