Death Sentence of a Prisoner Carried Out in Torbat-e Jam Central Prison

The death sentence of a prisoner named Ghadir Jamshidi, who was previously convicted on drug-related charges, has been carried out in Torbat-e Jam Central Prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution of a prisoner named Ghadir Jamshidi, a resident of Torbat-e Jam, was carried out this morning, Thursday, July 25, 2024, in the Central Prison of Torbat-e Jam in Khorasan Razavi province.

Ghadir Jamshidi was married and the father of four children. He had been previously arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Iranian Judiciary.

To date, the news of this execution has not been announced in the Iranian state media, especially those affiliated with the judiciary.
