Seyyed Mohammad Mirmousavi, a young Gilaki from Lahijan, Gilan Province, was killed under torture in the detention center of the Special Unit of the Law Enforcement Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran after being arrested. The family of this young man has been pressured by Iranian security agencies to refrain from making this crime public.

A video released showing the body of this young victim of systemic violence within the forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran reveals he was severely beaten and suffered from bleeding. According to one of those who washed his body, security forces pierced two areas of his body in the back and waist while torturing him.
