Mahabad: Two Kurdish Brothers Arrested, One of Whom a 13-Year-Old Child

Two Kurdish brothers, including a 13-year-old child named Mardin Rasoulzadeh and Ehsan Rasoulzadeh, have been arrested by the Iranian security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, Ehsan Rasoulzadeh, 22 years old, along with his brother, Mardin Rasoulzadeh, 13 years old, were arrested during a raid by the Iranian Intelligence forces on their family home in the "Esahabeh Sepi" neighborhood of Mahabad and were transferred to an unknown location.
According to informed sources, the Rasoulzadeh family's efforts to find out the fate of their sons have so far been unsuccessful, and security agencies have refused to provide a clear response on the matter.
As of the time of this report, there is no accurate information available regarding the reasons for their arrest, the charges brought against them, their place of detention, or their current condition.
