Death Sentences of Two Baloch Prisoners Carried Out in Shiraz Central Prison

The death sentences of two Baloch prisoners, identified as Sasan Ben (Bozorgzadeh) and Saeed Khajeh Heydari, who had previously been sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary for drug-related charges, were carried out in Shiraz Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, early on the morning of Sunday, September 15, 2024, the death sentences of Sasan Ben, 33, from Sarbaz and a resident of Iranshahr, and Saeed Khajeh Heydari, 30, from Kahnuj, were carried out in Shiraz Central Prison (Adelabad).
According to the Hal Vash news outlet, Sasan Ben was arrested in Shiraz in 2019, and Saeed Khajeh Heydari was arrested the same year in Pirbanon, a suburb of Shiraz, for drug-related charges. Both were sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary. The two prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinement in Adelabad Prison the day before for execution.
So far, the news of the execution of these two prisoners has not been announced in Iranian state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
