Ten armed security forces Killed in Sistan-Balouchestan: Additional report

At least 10 government forces were killed during an attack on two vehicles belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran's security forces in Taftan County, Sistan-Balouchestan province. The Jaish al-Adl organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday noon, 26 October 2024, two vehicles carrying security forces were attacked at the entrance to the Kūh Gowhar area of Taftan County. At least six officers and four conscript soldiers on board the two vehicles were killed, and several others were injured.
A few hours after the clash, the Jaish al-Adl organization took responsibility for the incident through its Telegram channel, publishing a brief statement and announcing that further details would be released soon.
State media have identified the 10 individuals killed in the clash as: Alireza Alizadeh from Shiraz, Mehdi Parishani from Khomeinishahr, Saleh Nourbakhsh Habibabadi from Isfahan, Pouya Salehi Yalme-Aliabadi from Mobarakeh, Iman Darvishi from Kolaleh, Alireza Aghajani Amirehendeh from Lahijan, Mehdi Khamoushi born in Mashhad, Ne'matollah Nouri from Zabol, Hadi Zareh Baghbidi from Yazd, and Pouya Rahmat Talab Ziyabari from Rasht.
