Death sentence of three prisoners carried out in Isfahan Central Prison

The death sentences of three prisoners — Amir Jahandar, Kourosh Salehian, and Reza Bidabadi — who had been convicted on charges related to drug offenses and premeditated murder, were carried out in Isfahan Central Prison.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Reza Bidabadi was executed at dawn on Thursday, October 31, 2024, in Isfahan Central Prison.
Earlier, on Monday, October 28, the executions of Amir Jahandar, a 40-year-old father from Kazerun, and Kourosh Salehian, 27, were also carried out at the same facility.
Reza Bidabadi had been arrested four years ago on murder charges, while Amir Jahandar and Kourosh Salehian had been apprehended for three years on drug-related charges and murder, respectively, before receiving death sentences.
At the time of this report, these executions have not been officially announced by state media or judiciary-affiliated outlets in Iran.
