Carrying Out the Death Sentence of a Prisoner in Ardabil Central Prison

The death sentence of a Turkish prisoner from Ardabil, identified as Younes Piroozi, who had previously been sentenced to death for premeditated murder, was carried out in the central prison of this city.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Sunday, October 6, 2024, the death sentence of a 48-year-old prisoner, Younes Piroozi, was carried out in Ardabil Central Prison.

Younes Piroozi, born in Ardabil, had been arrested three years ago on charges of premeditated murder and was subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
