Iran: Three Prisoners executed in Kraj

The death sentences of two Baloch prisoners, Ahmad Narouei and Mohammad Es’haqzahi, along with a Lor prisoner named Kamran Saghaei, were carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison. All three had been sentenced to death on drug-related charges.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Kamran Saghaei, from Khorramabad in Lorestan Province, along with Ahmad Narouei, 33, and Mohammad Es’haqzahi, 31, both from Zahedan, were executed in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.

Kamran Saghaei had been arrested in Shahriar on drug-related charges and was ultimately sentenced to death.

Ahmad Narouei and Mohammad Es’haqzahi were arrested in a joint case four years ago on similar charges and were likewise sentenced to death.

As of the time of this report, the executions of these prisoners have not been announced by state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
