Death sentence of two prisoners carried out in Zanjan Central Prison

The death sentence of two Turkish prisoners, previously sentenced to death on charges of "premeditated murder," was carried out in Zanjan Central Prison. The identities of these two prisoners have been confirmed as Soleiman Abbaspour and Ezzat Seyedi.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the death sentence of 40-year-old prisoner Ezzat Seyedi was executed in Zanjan Central Prison. He had been detained over five years ago on charges of premeditated murder and was subsequently sentenced to death.
Additionally, on Saturday, November 2, the death sentence of another prisoner, 21-year-old Soleiman Abbaspour, was carried out in Zanjan Central Prison. He had been previously detained on charges of premeditated murder and sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic of Iran judiciary.
As of the time of this report, the execution of these two prisoners has not been announced in state-affiliated media, particularly in outlets close to the judiciary.
