Death sentence of a prisoner carried out at Taybad Central Prison

A Lor prisoner named Ramazan Taheri, a resident of Aligudarz, who had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges, was executed at Taybad Central Prison in Razavi Khorasan Province.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution of Ramazan Taheri, 31, from Aligudarz in Lorestan Province, was carried out at dawn on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Taybad Central Prison.

This prisoner had been arrested two years ago on drug-related charges and was subsequently sentenced to death.

As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by state-affiliated media, particularly those linked to the judiciary.
