British couple arrested by Iranian security forces in Kerman

The identities of the two British citizens recently arrested by Iranian security forces in Kerman have been confirmed as Craig and Lindsay Foreman.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, February 13, 2025, the detained British couple was officially identified as Craig and Lindsay Foreman.
They were arrested in January 2025 by security forces on unspecified security-related charges.
Their family has issued a statement confirming their identities, expressing deep concern for their well-being, and stating that they are cooperating with the British government to ensure their safety and secure their return to the UK.
Two days ago, IRNA news agency published a blurred image of the two British nationals, showing them meeting with the British ambassador in Tehran. The meeting reportedly took place at the Kerman Prosecutor’s Office, attended by the prosecutor and the deputy security governor of Kerman Province.
The couple, both in their fifties, had entered Iran on a world tour by motorcycle and had planned to travel to Pakistan after a short stay in the country.
As of the time of this report, no official details have been disclosed regarding the reasons for their arrest or the charges against them.
