IRGC Intelligence forces arrested Parvin (Akhtar) Rasegh Ghezelbash, a 33-year-old Kurdish woman from Maku, in Urmia nearly 50 days ago. Authorities have since provided no information about her fate, whereabouts, or the charges against her.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, IRGC Intelligence forces arrested Rasegh Ghezelbash in Urmia on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Despite repeated inquiries by her family with security and judicial authorities in Urmia and Maku, officials have refused to provide any information about her health, the charges against her, or her place of detention.
