Death sentence of Ali Salimian executed in Isfahan Central Prison

The death sentence of a prisoner named Ali Salimian, a resident of Zarrinshahr, was carried out in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd). He had previously been sentenced to death on charges of "premeditated murder," 

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Ali Salimian, a 32-year-old prisoner from Zarrinshahr, Isfahan, was executed in Dastgerd Prison.

A well-informed source stated that Ali Salimian had been arrested ten years ago on charges of murdering his girlfriend and was sentenced to death by the judiciary of Islamic Republic of Iran.

As of the time of this report, no official announcement regarding this execution has been published in state media, particularly outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
