Death sentence of Ezzat Zeinali carried out in Ahar Central Prison

Turkish prisoner, Ezzat Zeinali, a resident of Qazvin was executed in Ahar Central Prison. He had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the death sentence of Ezzat Zeinali, 35, from Qazvin, was carried out in Ahar Prison.

Ezzat Zeinali had been arrested three years ago on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the judiciary of Islamic Republic of Iran.

As of the time of this report, no government-affiliated media outlets, particularly those close to the judiciary, have announced the execution of this prisoner.
