Death sentence of Gholamreza Pardakhteh, carried out at Shahroud Prison

The death sentence of a Baloch prisoner, Gholamreza Pardakhteh from Azadshahr, who had previously been convicted on drug-related charges, was carried out at the Central Prison of Shahroud in Semnan Province.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Wednesday, April 9, 2025, the death sentence of Gholamreza Pardakhteh — a father of four and resident of Azadshahr, Golestan Province — was carried out at Shahroud Central Prison.

The prisoner had been arrested seven years ago on drug-related charges and subsequently sentenced to death.
