Three Baloch Prisoners executed in Kerman, Bandar Abbas, and Zahedan Prisons

The death sentences of at least three Baloch prisoners—Ali Balochzehi, Abubakr Shahbakhsh, and Ayub Berniaei (Sarhadi)—were carried out in separate prisons across Iran. The prisoners had been convicted on charges of premeditated murder and drug-related offenses.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Tuesday, April 15, 2025, Abubakr Shahbakhsh, 36, from Sarjangal village in Zahedan, was executed in Kerman Prison. In Bandar Abbas Prison, Ayub Berniaei, 37 and a father of two from Ramshk in Kerman Province, was also executed the same day.

Additionally, on the morning of Monday, April 14, 2025, Ali Balochzehi, a resident of Bampusht, Saravan County in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, was executed in Zahedan Central Prison. His sentence had been issued for premeditated murder.

Shahbakhsh and Berniaei had each been sentenced to death four years ago in separate cases involving drug-related charges.

As of the time of reporting, none of these executions have been officially acknowledged by state media or outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
