According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Vahid Narouyi, a 30-year-old father of two from Zahedan, was executed at Yazd Central Prison.

Vahid Narouyi had been arrested five years ago on charges related to drug offences and was eventually sentenced to death.
