Hengaw - Sunday, June 1, 2025
The death sentences of two Baloch prisoners from Zahedan — Fakhrullah Shirouzehi and Ebrahim Laje’i — were carried out in Bam Central Prison, located in Kerman Province. Both men had been convicted in separate cases related to drug offenses.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the executions took place at dawn on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Shirouzehi, aged 30, and Laje’i, aged 35, were both fathers of two children.
The two prisoners were arrested approximately three years ago in unrelated cases and later sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s judiciary. On Friday, May 30, they were transferred to solitary confinement in Bam Prison, where they had their final visits with their families the following day.
Their executions have not been reported by state-affiliated media, including outlets connected to the judiciary.
