Hassan Saei executed in Tabriz Central Prison on murder charges

The death sentence of a Turk prisoner, Hassan Saei, was carried out in Tabriz Central Prison. He had previously been convicted of premeditated murder.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, Hassan Saei was executed in Tabriz Central Prison.

Informed sources stated that Saei had been arrested on charges of murdering his cousin and was eventually sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

News of his execution had not been published by state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
