Armin Bahrami executed at Karaj Central Prison

The death sentence of Armin Bahrami, a prisoner convicted of premeditated murder, was carried out at Karaj Central Prison.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution took place in the early hours of Sunday, May 18, 2025. Bahrami, a resident of Karaj, had been arrested on murder charges and later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iranian state media — particularly those affiliated with the judiciary — have not reported on Bahrami’s execution.
