Three Turkish prisoners executed in Birjand Central Prison

The death sentences of three Turkish prisoners from Miandoab — Naser Dehar, Qanbar Ghaffari, and Nouraldin Mohammadzadeh — were carried out at Birjand Central Prison in South Khorasan Province. The three had been convicted in a joint case on drug-related charges.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the executions took place in the early hours of Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

Naser Dehar, a father of two, along with Qanbar Ghaffari and Nouraldin Mohammadzadeh, both married, had been arrested three years earlier and later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

No official announcement regarding their executions has been made by Iranian state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
