Hossein Mirbalochzehi and Davoud Alinajad executed in Iranshahr and Arak Prisons

Two prisoners, Hossein Mirbalochzehi, a Baloch man from Iranshahr, and Davoud Alinajad, were executed in Iranshahr and Arak Central Prisons, respectively. Both had previously been convicted on charges of premeditated murder and drug-related offenses.

According to information received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Sunday, June 8, 2025, the execution of 25-year-old Hossein Mirbalochzehi was carried out in Iranshahr Prison. On the same day, Davoud Alinajad was executed in Arak Central Prison.

Mirbalochzehi had been arrested approximately one year ago on murder charges. Alinajad had been convicted in a separate case involving drug-related offenses and subsequently sentenced to death.

Neither of these executions has been reported by state media or outlets affiliated with Iran’s judiciary.
