According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution of 25-year-old Abdolsamad Barahui, a resident of Iranshahr, took place at dawn on Monday, June 9, 2025, in Iranshahr Central Prison.

Barahui had been arrested three years earlier on charges of premeditated murder and was later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He was transferred to solitary confinement the day before the execution and granted a final visit with his family.

Karimi had been arrested nearly 12 years ago in Gonbad-e Kavus, Semnan Province, on drug-related charges and was later sentenced to death. His execution was carried out without being afforded a final visit with his family.
