Number of Baloch prisoners executed in Kahnouj today rises to two

The death sentence of Nadim Davoudi, a Baloch prisoner from Fanouj in Sistan and Baluchestan province, was carried out in Kahnouj Central Prison in Kerman province. Davoudi had been convicted on drug-related charges by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran. His execution brings the total number of prisoners executed on Monday in this facility to two.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution took place at dawn on Monday, June 2, 2025. Davoudi, 32, had been imprisoned for six years following his arrest in Manujan, Kerman province, before being sentenced to death.
As reported by Haalvsh, he had been detained on narcotics charges and later condemned to death by Iran’s judiciary.
Hengaw previously reported the execution of another Baloch prisoner on the same day in this prison. Iman Sabeghi, 30, a resident of Zehkalut, the administrative center of Jazmoyan District in Kerman province. Like Davoudi, Sabeghi had been arrested six years ago on drug-related charges and was sentenced to death.
These executions have not been officially acknowledged by state media, including outlets affiliated with Iran’s judiciary.
