Behbahan – teacher Forough Khosravi arrested by IRGC intelligence forces

Forough Khosravi, a teacher and resident of Behbahan in Khuzestan Province, was arrested by intelligence forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and taken to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Khosravi—a Lor educator with the Ministry of Education in Behbahan—was detained following a raid on her home by IRGC intelligence agents. 

Sources familiar with the case reported that the arrest was carried out without an warrant and involved the use of force.

No official information has been released regarding the reasons for her arrest or the charges filed against her.
