Hamid Yavari executed at Hamedan Central Prison

Hamid Yavari, a prisoner from Hamedan previously convicted on drug-related charges, was executed at Hamedan Central Prison.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution took place in the early hours of Sunday, July 13, 2025.

Sources close to the case reported that he had been arrested on drug-related charges and later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

His execution has not been announced by Iranian state media or judiciary-affiliated outlets.
